Our Mission
The purpose of the Community Coordinating Council is to work in partnerships to improve the well-being of children, families and individuals in Caledonia and Southern Essex Counties.
We do this by:
- Improving the availability and quality of services for families and children;
- Building community coalitions and cooperative problem solving;
- Developing services to meet family needs; and
- Dispersing grant monies and Federal and State block grants.

Coordinated crisis services for family and youth.
Parent Help Network and Advocates
Coordinating multi-agency team work affecting:
- Healthy newborns
- Summer programs for children
- Building Caring Communities Alliance
CUPS (Children's Upstream Services)
Mental health services for children aged 0 to 6 and their families.
Community Education
Vermont's Children's Forum community meeting.
Parent Advocacy Training provided by the Vermont Federation for Children's Mental Health.
Family and School Partnership Skills Training provided by the Department of Education BEST program.
Cosponsors of the Ad Hoc Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse: Community Forum on the Future of Our Mental Health Services.
