The Lyndon Area Ecumenical Emergency Food Shelf is located in West Burke on Route 5A and is open each Wednesday from 1:30 until 4:00 PM.

Food is distributed to each Lyndon Area Person on a three times in one quarter, and the sale of used clothing at a very low price.

Donations are taken but the clothing must be clean, pressed, with no holes or lack of buttons. It must not be trash, but usable clothing.

Check with any of the pastors in the Lyndon Area and they can direct you to the services as well as to whom to send your donations of money and good used clean clothing.

Each Christmas and Easter the Clergy and Churches provide special religious services for each holiday season.

Thanksgiving service during the week of Thanksgiving, and Christmas Services on the first Sunday in Advent at an area church.

The Ecumenical Pastors meet each Wednesday during Lent at noon at the St. Peter's Church in Lyndonville with area pastor's and congregations providing a light lunch and a prayer service for Lent.

The Ecumenical Council meets each fifth Tuesday at the Colbeigh Library in Lyndonville for business to be conducted regarding the food shelf and other local ministries. Mrs. Wanita Gorman is the President and Rev. Peggy Wright of the Easrt Burke Church is the Vice President. Mr. Donald Pearsons is the transcient officer.
