Don’t be confused by the name this is a Southern Baptist Church located in South Wheelock Vermont. This name is however very important because it is the “deed” name for the church and how this church is located for residents.
     This is a church that for almost six and one- half- years was one to three members away from closing. We stayed because we believed that God was going to do a great work here.
     Today this is a vital church averaging 30 to 40 in our Sunday morning service and loaded with: young couples, babies, children, and a few elder {irreplaceable} couples, and singles. A great deal of this growth has been the result of the congregations desire to reach out and make a difference.
     God has really blessed with many coming to find Christ as their Savior and now becoming disciples for Christ. The importance of discipleship is lived out here at South Wheelock, as our people are very active inviting others to come to Church. Extra services have been added and God is growing our believers.
     Their testimonies have brought others who often are seekers to our church here in the four-corners. We simply believe that Jesus is still the “Great Physician” and our church has become a spiritual hospital. Now we are faced with some major problems. We need leadership and we need space and time is of the essence. We also need a real bathroom.
     The church in the four-corners has a small but very dedicated group that will be a core for growth and God is blessing. Please pray for this church when you pray and if you’re not currently attending a church faithfully give us a try.
