East Burke Congregational Church is a vibrant, alive, community church which reaches out to its village and nearby towns. The church is the only church in the village and so is a leader in festivals, outreach to Vermonters who need a visit, a listening ear, fuel oil, help with a broken furnace.

The congregation began in the 1860s and is an active participant in the wider United Church of Christ in Vermont.

During the summer the congregation moves to different area meeting houses. Child care is available and church school begins in the fall after the major East Burke Festival on September 26th. October 4th will be a festival celebrating St. Francis and a chance to enroll children for the fall church school.
