NKMHS offers services to individuals with mental retardation, autism, and related disabilities through the Developmental Services program. Services are individualized, flexible, and designed to assist people with disabilities to live in their own homes as they define them, and be productive members of their community. All services are community based. Our system of care emphasizes self determination, personal choice, individualized care and treatment, personal safety, skills training, and vocational supports.
