We like to think of this site as... "where people go to find the stuff to live their daily lives." Whether you're looking for a support group, a movie, a piece of property, or a great place to eat in the Kingdom... you've come to the right place.
For those of you who don't know, the Kingdom we refer to is the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. This most rural portion of Vermont was supposedly so named the Northeast Kingdom by Senator George Aiken over fifty years ago. It's the area roughly bounded by the Canadian border, the Connecticut River, Ryegate, Hardwick and Jay. We're proud of our home and we'd love to share it with you. To help you plan your visit, you'll find a number of resources here such as maps, guides and likely the most complete calendar of "stuff" to do, see and attend anywhere in the Kingdom.
OurKingdom is brought to you by The Caledonian-Record, publishers of the daily newspaper and web design firm. Here we combine non-profit entities with commercial ventures to give you a robust and ever-growing picture of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Non-profit sites are provided at no charge and updated by the organizations themselves through a secure interface.
